What is a Gallery Stretcher?

Canvas Stretching Machine, LLC, manufactures the Gallery Stretcher, a fully pneumatic canvas stretching machine that produces tight uniform gallery wraps and regular stretches in about 2 minutes or less. Canvas Stretching Machine has been manufacturing and selling a complete line of stretchers directly to large print shops, print-on-demand services, custom frame shops, artists and photographers since 2008. These stretching machines are currently being sold all over the World.

Their unique bench mounted design lets you rotate oversized artwork on a seamless work surface, making it easy to fold corners into place. You do not need to reach over the artwork at awkward and uncomfortable angles because all of the stapling is done from the front. With the specially-designed clamp, you can move freely and comfortably as you work.

In recent years, artists have sought the services of businesses that can digitally scan their original art, archive it and reproduce it on-demand. These print-on-demand services and commercial printing services have been growing in vast numbers all over the world. The Gallery Stretcher is considered to be the industry standard for high-production print shops.

The Gallery Stretcher is available in 4 models ranging in size from 36" to 96". The GS-36, which will handle 36" x 36" artwork, is an entry level model ideal for artists and photographers. A slightly larger model is the GS-60, which handles artwork 60" x 60", this is ideally suited for high-production print shops and custom picture framers. The ProMod Series, offers the greatest level of control and functionality, with dual-stage stretching control, dual-foot pedals for clamping and stretching, a universal mounting system, long-nosed staple gun and holster. The ProMod Series comes in 60" & 96" sizes.

Celebrating 15 Years

After 15 years they have added different models including the ProMod series, a stretching machine that answered the needs of higher volume production facilities. Kent Blevins join the company and oversees the production of our models. We continue to provide the best service and support for a machine that has created a name for itself.
